Well the idea is, never fly into walls, but if you do, just try to graze them.

And the obvious answer to the falling question is, one you are leading with your feet, the other your head.

There are so many issues with the physics engine, every little tweak to fix things could break stuff.  If there are major level problems they can be fixed with an update.

New release:

 

* Fixed a few bugs
* Fixed a bug with script time, if you used the parameter "speed" it must be adjusted.

New release.
 
The entire 3-mission pack of The Infernal Maze is now ready.  Idol locks have been added, and several journal entries for the story.  I had planned a big boss finale, but I'm reducing that just to get it done.
 
* Improved walking on corners
* Fixed objects on conveyors
* Fixed stair climbing for ground enemies.  Ball stair climbing is iffy, don't rely on it.
* Fixed several bug levels, thanks for your help!
 
Cheats for testing missions - reminder
HOME+click = unlock mission
HOME+click = complete level
HOME+I = increase idol count
HOME+U = reveal all levels
 
The next release will be the final beta (excluding minor fixes).

Looking good Adam!

 

All the bug levels seem to be working right.

I look forward to the improved walking on corners. I was getting caught way too much.

 

Unfortunately, I seem to be having trouble saving a level. The "Saving level .." dialog comes up, but we get stuck there. Then there's an error (when you click cancel, perhaps after a timeout too?). Server issue?

I'm not too familiar with macs, but I guess there's no  HOME  key? If that's the case, you can use SEMICOLON instead. 

 

From the Level Editor Guide:

 

Cheat Keys
Cheating can be essential when testing difficult parts of your level.
(you may substitute  SEMICOLON for HOME) 
HOME+INSERT : Open/close door
HOME+DELETE : Suicide
HOME+F : Fill fuel tanks
HOME+I : Invincible Jetman

 

There's a couple of undocumented codes too:

 

HOME+O : Disable death - akin to playing on toddler difficulty, useful if you want to be invincible but still able to jump on marbles

HOME+P : Show physics - shows all the boundaries used by the physics engine
