TLS: I don't know, it will depend on what type of exe the projector I end up using outputs. But if you're asking for Linux, I plan to build a Linux version. There's no reason not to, since its Flash.

(fyi to answer to the publishing questions see the next post)

I'm looking forward to Jetpack 2, love the first one ever since the mid 1990s when I was just a kid. Let's just hope some publisher is ready to pick up the project in these hard times we live in.

By the way, this isn't really JP2 related but it has been a dream of mine for many years to get to play a more "modernized" version of Jetpack. Basically a rewritten version that is fully compatible with modern computers and has the file & code structure overhauled to allow for more customization (like adding custom tiles, replacing sounds, etc.) and just simplify the "architecture" of the game files as a whole. Another thing that I always dreamed about was to make levels bigger than one screen, the view could move with the jetpack guy similarly to the side-scrollers or the view could jump between screens when the jetpack guy touches one of the four edges. With that plus allowing more than 15 bad guys in one level, one could make some very big and challenging levels.

I know this is never going to happen but I just felt like sharing this with you. :)

I would pay 10 bucks on the App Store to play jetpack 1 on the iPhone. Probably a better choice over the DS version but I commend them nonetheless...

The fact that a publishing deal is still being worked on doesn't mean (I assume) that work on development was put on halt.
Besides, getting that deal done is progress too.
